It all started with saudade.

When we moved to the United States in 2014, our plan was simple: study, grow, and build a new chapter of life.

But from day one, something was missing.
The flavors and traditions of our culture .

So, like every good Brazilian gathering, we started cooking for friends. Pão de queijo, picanha, brigadeiro. Small moments that turned into big memories.
Our friends loved it, and so did we.

Entrepreneurship has always been part of who we are. In Brazil, Wanessa ran her own ice cream and snack franchise. Ricardo worked in food distribution and the oil industry. We’ve always shared a passion for building businesses and connecting with people.

In 2018, we decided to turn that passion into something bigger. We opened our first Nella’s store, originally called Brazilian Meat Boutique, in Long Branch, NJ.

A market filled with fresh meats, groceries, and the true taste of Brazil.

What started as one small idea has now become four Nella’s locations, including our expansion to Orlando, Florida.

Today, Nella’s is our family’s way of bringing everything you need in one place. Delicious food, quality products, and the warmth of Brazilian culture, shared with everyone who walks through our doors.
